Mr. Robert (Bobby) Ginn, Age 78, of Waterford, Michigan formerly of Vanceburg, Kentucky passed away Tuesday November 12, 2013 at his brother in laws home Charles Bob Wright in Waterford, Michigan after an extended illness.

Bobby was born in Lewis County, Ky. October 8, 1935 to the late Earl and Ollie Faulkner Ginn.

He retired from the Ohio River and Ashland Barge Company as a deck hand. Prior to that he worked for the Hayswood Hospital in Maysville, Ky.

Preceded in death beside his parents were 5- brothers- Earl Ginn, Orville Ginn, Vernon Ginn, Virgil Ginn, & Frank Ginn. One sister- Sharon Wright.

Surviving is a Daughter- Valerie Kay (Phillip) Fizer of Ribolt, Ky.

Four Sisters- Mary Gilbert- Quincy, Ky., Louise Henson, Emma McClurg, and Freida Ginn all of Vanceburg, Ky.

Granddaughter- Melanie Groves of Carrollton, Ky.

Grandson- Bradley Hilterbrandt of Maysville, Ky.

Five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews and great- nieces and nephews who will sadly mourn his passing.

Friends may call from 5-8PM Friday and from 8:00am until time of services Saturday at the Gaydos Funeral Home 159 2nd Street Vanceburg, Kentucky.

Funeral services will be Saturday November 16, 2013 @ 1:00PM at the Gaydos Funeral Home with Brother David Shumate officiating. Burial will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery Vanceburg, Ky.

Jack Gilbert, Donald Ginn, Ryan Calvert, Eric Lewis, Johnny Wright, Jeff Baldwin will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Joe Potter, Doug Alexander, and Steve Dunigan.
