Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with the family. Growing up, Elaine and I were so close, she was like another daughter to our Mom and sister to my sisters. No words can express our sorrow.

Through high school, Elaine, Willa, Shirley and I were inseparable. Good times, great friends.

I still remember playing together as children in Vanceburg. As a child, I always loved coming into town from Black Oak and playing with Elaine and David. Words cannot express the sorrow you must be going through. May the Lord bless you and grant you peace during this time.
All my love,
Michael Lykins

Delores, Billy, David, Dylan, Sarah and grandchildren.

Elaine will carry a place in my heart forever. I cannot possibly say any words that will help you through this tragic loss. Time and God's love in your hearts will be your solace. But know she was loved and the memories I have of our "younger" years will be treasured forever. Please know I will be thinking of all of you and sending love and prayers. My mom, Thelma, says she will be praying for all of you. Our family is so very sorry for your loss.

I read this recently.

Birth is a beginning
and death a destination.
And life is a journey -
A sacred journey to life everlasting

Elaine, enjoy your reward of life everlasting in Heaven. See you again someday soon.

Love, Melba Means

To the entire family of Elaine. Let it be known that Elaine was one of the most loved and respected of all students that I had in school. Her beaming smile and jovial ways was something I always looked forward to. She was like a beam of sunlight.
You are all in my prayers. Please keep in touch with God and know that he will give you strength to get through this time of mourning.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Elaine. I had the opportunity to work alongside Elaine while doing paramedic clinicals at MRMC and while dropping off patients at the hospital. Elaine always had a smile on her face and loved life! C. Hauke
