Lou Ivy Bare, Age 85 of Vanceburg, Ky went to be with his lord Tuesday June 30, 2015 at his daughters home in Vanceburg.

 

Lou Ivy was born in Orangeburg, KY June 22, 1930 to the late Earl and Bettie Ross Bare.

 

Mr. Bare was a Farmer, school bus driver, He drove a ready mix truck, and retired from Brownings/ Emerson Manufacturing where he was a set up operator. He was a loving Husband, Father, Papaw, and Great Papaw. He was affectionately called Uncle Lou. He was also a member of Clarksburg Christian Church where he loved to worship God and interact with his Church Family.

 

Surviving is one Daughter- Karen (Earnest) Wolfe of Vanceburg, Ky

2- Sons- John (Helen) Bare of Blacklick, Ohio and Joe Bare of Vanceburg, KY

9- Grandchildren Mrs. Kim (Jesse) Riggs of Richmond, KY, B.J. Wolfe of Vanceburg, Kenny (Kayla) Bare of Chillicothe, Ohio, Earnie Wolfe II of Vanceburg, KY, Ann Bare of Ashland, KY, Raelyn and Makayla Bare of Tollesboro, KY, Zach and Alex Morris of Black lick, Ohio

 

7- Great Grandchildren- Sydney Rickett, Cameron Eli Wolfe, Ryan Hunter Wolfe, Luke Austin Riggs, Lily Kate Riggs, Tiger Jamison Bare, and Piper Rae Bare

 

Preceded him in death beside his parents is his wife of 47 years Evelyn “Tilly” Bare

2- Sons Dean Bare and Kenneth “Tiger” Bare

1- Granddaughter Ashley Nicole Bare

1- Sister Ella Mae Foster

3- Brothers Estest Bare, Fountain Bare, and Edger Bare

 

Funeral Services will be Thursday July 2, 2015 at 5:00PM at the Gaydos Funeral Home with Dr. Robert Ford officiating. Burial will be in the Crystal-Dawn Cemetery Quincy, KY

 

Friends may call from 2PM till the time of services Thursday at the Gaydos Funeral Home.
