Alberta Jeanette Butler, Age 84, of Vanceburg, Ky., passed away Thursday March 15th, 2018 at her home.

Jeanette, was born in Vanceburg, February 17, 1934 to the late Joseph and Oweda Jackson Liles. Jeanette was a homemaker and was raised in the Baptist faith.


Preceded her in death beside her parents was her husband James W. Butler; a sister- Ruth Liles, six brothers- Harvey G. Liles, Wilburn Liles, Newt Liles, Dallas Liles, Ray Liles, and Harlan Glen Liles in infancy.


Surviving is a brother- Joseph Liles Jr. of Bucyrus, Ohio.

Several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews also survive who will mourn her passing.


Funeral service will be Monday at 11:00am March 19th, 2018 at the Gaydos Funeral Home 159 2nd street Vanceburg, Ky. 41179. With Brother Tony Corns officiating. Burial will follow in the Morgan Cemetery at the Head of Grassy Lewis County, Ky.


Visitation will be Monday March 19th, 2018 from 9:00am until time of services at the funeral home.


Family and friends will serve as pallbearers for Alberta Jeanette Butler.

So sorry to hear about Jeanette's passing ...have wonderful memories of weekend trips to her and James house and spending time with them and the Butler family growing up.. many prayers for the family she has left behind ....

So sorry to hear of Jeanettes passing..She was such a sweet lady..always smiling and always greeted you with a smile and hug.
