Mr. Allen T. Booth Jr., Age 87, of Vanceburg, Kentucky passed away Monday January 20th, 2020 at his home after an extended illness.

Allen was born in Vanceburg, Kentucky January 16th, 1933 to the late Allen Thomas Booth Sr. and Audra G. Abbott.

Allen graduated from the University of Cincinnati in1955 with a Bachelors’ degree in Engineering.  He started working for the RCA Company in Camden, New Jersey.  During his time working for RCA he was sent overseas by the company to do various jobs for them.  He retired from RCA in 1996.    Allen was a member of the Vanceburg United Methodist Church.  He loved working with people and was very kind to all that knew him.  While being a member of the church he served on many committees putting his talents to work.

Left to cherish Allen’s memories are several 1st cousins- Audrey Joyce Silvey, Vera Banford, George Abbott, and Steve Abbott. Along with several other cousins and family members who will mourn his passing.  Adopted daughter Corinne Medina and adopted grandson George Allen Medina.

A Memorial service will be held Sunday February 2nd, 2020 at 10:30 AM at the Vanceburg United Methodist Church with Pastor Bob Sweeney officiating.

Friends may call Sunday February 2nd 2020 at the church from 9:30 AM until time of services at the church.

Burial will be at a later date in the Abbott cemetery Vanceburg, Kentucky.

I didn't know Allen very long but what I did know is, he loved God, his family, friends and was devoted to them..
Allen, Your race is run,, collect the rewards.. R.I.P
