Kathy A. (Williamson) Caldwell

Kathy A. Caldwell, Age 74, of Garrison, Kentucky passed away peacefully at her son’s home in Grayson, Kentucky Monday March 25, 2024 after an extended illness.

Kathy was born December 24, 1949 in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Patrick Herbert and Betty Jane Wilcoxon Williamson.  Kathy worked for the U.S. Shoe Corporation in Vanceburg, Kentucky for over 20 years.  She loved playing BINGO and enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Kathy was of the Pentecostal faith.

Left to cherish Kathy’s memories is her husband of 57 years whom she married January 9, 1967 in Vanceburg Roger Caldwell of Garrison, Kentucky.

Daughters- Kyra Zornes of Vanceburg, Ky; Shonda Faye (David) Mosley, and Kailee Caldwell both of Garrison, Ky.

One son- Chris (Deanna) Caldwell of Grayson, Ky.

Sister- Debra (Jackie) Tumlin of Vanceburg, Ky.

13-grandchildren, 13-great-grandchildren and other family members who also will mourn her passing.

Preceded in death beside her parents was a sister- Sally Prater, brother- Steve Williamson, and a son-in-law- Timothy ‘Pork’ Zornes.

Visitation will be Friday March 29, 2024 from 6-8 p.m. at the Gaydos Funeral Home 159 2nd street Vanceburg, Kentucky and from 9-11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday March 30, 2024 at the funeral home with Brother Patrick Tumlin officiating.  Burial will follow in the Waring cemetery in Garrison, Ky.

Pallbearers for Kathy A. Zornes will be her grandchildren- Devan Walters, Kyle Caldwell, John Zornes, Matthew Zornes, Christopher Caldwell, and Timothy Caldwell.  Honorary pallbearers are Bryson Jenkins, Blaine Cooley, Cameron Caldwell, and Camden Bertram.
