Alyce Justice, Age 79, of Flemingsburg, Kentucky passed away Friday May 9, 2025 surrounded by her family at her home after an extended illness.
Alyce was born in Stricklett, Kentucky June 12, 1945 to the late Bowman and Bertha Gilliam McCoy. Alyce worked for Textron Incorporated for 39 years. She was a member of the Victory Baptist Church in Flemingsburg, Kentucky. Alyce loved playing the piano, sewing and scrapbooking. She also was a great photographer making photo albums of her family. She also liked going to the Activity Center and Senior citizens in Flemingsburg. Alyce, also kept a journal of her daily activities. Most of all she LOVED her family.
Preceded her in death beside her parents was a sister- Helen Lorene McCoy, brothers- Floyd Bowman Jr., and Gilbert McCoy.
Left to cherish Alyce’s memories is a brother- John McCoy of Bonneau, South Carolina. Several nieces and nephews along with many friends who also will mourn her passing.
Graveside services will be held Thursday May 15, 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Bowman-McCoy Cemetery with Pastor Shawn Meade officiating.
Visitation for Alyce Justice will be Thursday May 15, 2025 from 11:00 AM- 12:00 PM at the Gaydos Funeral Home 159 2nd Street Vanceburg, Kentucky 41179.
Pallbearers for Alyce Justice will be family and friends.
