Amber (Cooper) Kegley

We are extremely saddened to announce the unexpected passing of Amber Cooper Kegley at the age of 43 on September 8, 2022 at Southern Ohio Medical Center Emergency Room in Portsmouth, Ohio.

Amber, was born on August 17, 1979 at Portsmouth, Ohio.

She is the daughter of Wayson (Patty) Cooper of South Shore, Kentucky, and Dreama (Jeff) Flowers of Quincy, Kentucky.

In addition to her parents, Amber is survived by her Husband, Eric Kegley, whom she married March 4th, 2016 in Tollesboro. Two children, Hunter (Bailey) Bryant of Richmond, Kentucky, and Taylor Bryant of Tollesboro, Kentucky; Two stepsons, Canyon Kegley and Phoenix Kegley of Vanceburg, Kentucky; and her brother Kevin (Marita) Cooper of Harrogate, Tennessee. She also leaves many family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

She attended Hickory Grove Christian Holiness Church. She obtained her State Certification (CNA), a Kentucky Certified Nursing Assistant.

Services will be Wednesday September 14, 2022 at 1:00p.m., at the Gaydos Funeral Home at 159 second street Vanceburg, Kentucky 41179. With Brother Wes Cooper officiating. Burial will immediately be following at the Cooper Cemetery in Scotts Branch, Kentucky.

Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home on September 14, 2022.
