Anna E. Robinson, Age 85, of Vanceburg, Kentucky passed away peacefully Saturday March 22, 2025 surrounded by her family at the Pioneer Trace Nursing Home in Flemingsburg, Kentucky.

Anna, was born in Irvin, Kentucky May 7, 1939 to the late Joseph and Hazel Hensley Edwards.  Anna worked for the Lewis County Board of Education where she taught for 26 years.  She also worked for, the U.S. Department of the Interior in Cincinnati, Ohio, the Berea Forest Research Center in Berea, Kentucky, the U.S. Forest Service and Sylvania Electric in Winchester, Kentucky.  Anna was a graduate of Morehead State University where she earned a Bachelors degree in education in 1974 and her Masters as a Reading Specialist in 1980.  She was a Kentucky Colonel and a member of the Order of Eastern Star Alum City Chapter 222.

Anna was of the Christian faith and leaves behind a legacy of being a loving Mother, Wife and Friend.  She adored her grandchildren and great grandchild and was loved by her many students.

Left to cherish her memories are three sons- William Ernie (Angie) Robinson of Morehead, Kentucky, Woodrow Earl (Angie) Robinson-Maysville, Kentucky, and William Earl Robinson Jr. and his companion (Joy Atkins) of Atlanta, Georgia.

Sisters- Hazel Morgerson-Winchester, Kentucky and Alice (Gene) Beatty of Wilmore, Kentucky.  Grandchildren- Brad, Deandra (Roger), Kelsey (Christopher), Kaleb (Danielle), Kiley, Ashton, Daphne, and Pheobe.  One-great-grandchild Parker along with many relatives and friends who also will mourn her passing.

Funeral service will be Saturday March 29, 2025 at 11:00 am at the Gaydos Funeral home 159 2nd street Vanceburg, Kentucky 41179 with Sister Wilma Erwin officiating.  Entombment will follow in Lewis County Memory Gardens Black Oak, Kentucky.

Visitation will be Friday March 28, 2025 from 5-7 p.m. at the Gaydos Funeral Home.

Pallbearers for Anna E. Robinson will be Bill Tom Stone, Jody Parkhill, John Edwards, Terry Underwood, Kaleb Robinson, and Chris Shumway.  Honorary pallbearers will be Roger Ruark and Brad Robinson.  Condolences may be sent to the family at www.gaydosfh.com.
