Obituary

Adren E. ‘Babe’ Pollitt, Age 70, of Vanceburg, Kentucky passed away Monday October 10th, 2022 at the Hospice of Hope Care Center in Maysville, Kentucky.

Babe, as he was known by his family and friends was born August 31st, 1952 in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Bill and Grace Kennedy Pollitt.  Babe worked for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for 33 years.  He also worked for the Lewis County School system as a custodian for 12 years.  Graduate of Lewis County High School Class of 1971.

He is survived by his wife whom he married in 1994 in Vanceburg, Kentucky Caroline Hake Pollitt.

Several other family members and friends who also will mourn his passing.

Visitation for Babe Pollitt will be Sunday October 16th, 2022 from NOON until 2:00 pm at the Gaydos Funeral Home 159 2nd street Vanceburg, Kentucky 41179.

Memorial service will be held Sunday October 16th, 2022 at 2:00 pm with Sister Wilma Erwin officiating.
