Barbara A. Caseman, Age 75, of Vanceburg, Kentucky passed away Wednesday June 3, 2026 at the Southern Ohio Medical Hospice Center in Portsmouth, Ohio.

Barbara was born in Vanceburg, Kentucky April 19, 1951 to the late Charles Robert and Mrytle Carpenter Hobbs.  Barbara was a homemaker and she loved gardening going to church, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.  She was a member of the I’ll talk for Jesus Pentecostal Church.

Left to cherish her memories are her daughters- Kathy (Chuck) Riffe of Garrison, Kentucky, and Karen (Jimmy) Barker- Sandy Hook, Kentucky.

Sisters- Barsetta Bolander, Vessie (Darrell) Collier, and JoAnn (David) Riffe all of Garrison, Kentucky. Carmella (Bell) Hall, Nellie Bolander, Lonnie Hobbs, Jeanie Thurman, Tuffy (Dean) Thurman all of Vanceburg, Kentucky.

One brother- Mitch (Lora) Hobbs of Vanceburg, Kentucky.

Granddaughters- Stephanie (Anthony) Corns, Christy (Kenneth) Carver, Kelli Jo Riffe, and Erika Morgan.  8-great-grandchildren- Charles Corns, Henry Carver, Sawyer Laney, Ariona Riffe, Elaina Carver, Kayrena Corns, Noah and Colson Harlow.

Preceded in death beside her parents was her husband Henry Caseman in 2025, a sister- Leoma Shope, brothers- James Franklin Hobbs, and Charles Robert Hobbs Jr.  Great-grandson- Isaac Corns.

Funeral services will be held Saturday June 6, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. at the Gaydos Funeral Home 159 2nd street Vanceburg, Kentucky 41179 with Brother Tony Corns officiating.  Burial will follow in the Caseman-Riffe cemetery in Garrison, Ky.

Visitation will be Saturday June 6, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. until time of services at the Gaydos Funeral Home.

Pallbearers for Barbara A. Caseman will be Chuck Riffe, Jimmy Barker, Anthony Corns, Charles Corns, Kenny Carver, and Kenneth Henry Carver.
