Bonnie A. (McDaniel) Patton

Mrs. Bonnie A. Patton, Age 77, of Vanceburg, Kentucky passed away Saturday April 30th, 2022 at her home with her family by her side after an extended illness.

Bonnie was born in Lewis County, Kentucky February 7, 1945 to the late Omar and Betty Caseman McDaniel.  Bonnie worked for the U.S. Shoe Corporation for 34 years.  She was a member of the Clarksburg Christian Church.  Bonnie liked collecting Lee Middleton dolls, and Boyd bears.  She adored and loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Left to cherish Bonnie’s memories is her husband of 32 years whom she married February 3rd, 1990 in Vanceburg, Mike Patton.

Step-mother- Peggy McDaniel of Vanceburg, Ky.

Daughter- Charla (Richard) Gillespie of Bowie, Maryland.

Sons- Shane-(Yamemah Thackston-White of Baltimore, Maryland, and Lonnie (Maggie) Patton of Vanceburg.

Grandchildren- Andrew (Tysheema) Burchett, Adam Burchett, Cayton Gillespie, Marla White, Milah White, Kayla Patton, Paige (Brandon) Smith, Rylie Patton, and Lonnie Patton Jr.

Great-grandchildren- Addisyn Smith, Micah Holmes, Brandon Smith, and Kasen Smith.

One sister- Tammy (Tim) Whitaker of Wheelersburg, Ohio. Brother- Glenn (Elizabeth) McDaniel of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Visitation will be Tuesday May 3rd, 2022 at the Clarksburg Christian Church from 5-8 pm.  Wednesday May 4th, 2022 from 10:00am until time of services at the church.

Funeral services will be Wednesday May 4th, 2022 at 1:00 pm at the Clarksburg Christian Church with Pastor Lyle Parker officiating.  Burial will follow in the Skidmore cemetery Garrison, Kentucky.

Pallbearers for Bonnie A. Patton will be Lonnie Patton, Adam Burchett, Steven Moore, David Corns, and Richard Gillespie.
