Bradley Dean Sparks, age 61, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, February 20, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. Bradley was born on February 29, 1964, in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Elmer Jim Sparks, and Thelma Ruth Sparks.
He was a proud retiree of Carpenters Local Union 437, where he dedicated many years of hard work and craftsmanship. Above all, he cherished time spent with his family and friends, especially his beloved grandchildren who brought him immense joy. A man of Christian faith, Bradley was a faithful member of Grace Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Joyce (Kenneth) Scott, and brother Jeff Sparks.
Bradley is survived by the love of his life and devoted wife of 42 years, Angela Ellen Sparks; his daughter, Pamela (Joshua) Stamm; and his son, Bradley (Lakin) Sparks II. He leaves behind five cherished grandchildren: which includes three granddaughters, Makenna Stamm, Elayna Sparks, and Elodie Stamm; and two grandsons Brantley Stamm and Marshall Sparks. Bradley is also survived by his siblings: Brothers: Jerry (Betty) Sparks, Gary (Denise) Sparks, Mike Sparks, Roger Sparks, Dennis (Linda) Sparks, Greg (Roberta) Sparks, James (Candy) Sparks; his sisters Patty (Johnny) Mefford and Diana Sue Hersh; along with many nieces and nephews who will lovingly remember him.
Bradley will be remembered for his strong work ethic, his love for the outdoors, his unwavering faith, and the deep devotion he had for his family. His presence will be greatly missed, but his legacy of love will live on in all who knew him.
