Brian Applegate Obituary
Brian Willis Applegate, Age 54, of Vanceburg, Kentucky passed away Thursday September 13, 2018 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky from injuries sustained as a result of a motor vehicle accident.
Brian was born in Maysville, Kentucky July 28th, 1964 to the late Dorothy McCray Applegate and Ora Willis Applegate of Tollesboro, Ky.
Brian worked for the Browning Manufacturing Company in his earlier years. He also installed Satellites for the Dish Network. His love and passion was tinkering with small engines, lawnmowers and going to classic car shows. He enjoyed spending time with his family and grandson Lucas.
Surviving Brian is his wife Rosie Carpenter Applegate of Vanceburg, Ky.
Parents – Willis (Judy) Applegate of Tollesboro, Ky.
One son- Brian Applegate Jr. of Vanceburg, Ky.
One daughter- Sarah Webb of Vanceburg, Ky.
One grandson- Lucas Webb of Vanceburg, Ky.
Preceded in death by his mother- Dorothy McCray Applegate.
Funeral services will be Monday September 17, 2018 at 1:00 pm at the Gaydos Funeral Home 159 2nd street Vanceburg, Ky. 41179 with Brother J.R. Hampton officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethel Cemetery Ribolt, Ky.
Friends may call Monday from 10:00am until time of services at the funeral home.
Pallbearers for Brian W. Applegate will be Brian Howe, Mike Thoroughman, Robert Carpenter, Jordan Applegate, Brian Applegate Jr., and Rodney Scott.
