Charles J. Campbell Jr., Age 92, of Vanceburg, Kentucky passed away Monday December 9, 2024 at his home after an extended illness.

Charles was born in Addison, Ohio May 24, 1932 the son of the late Charles J. Campbell Sr. and Emma Mae Fry Campbell.  Charles was a machinist at General Dynamics in California for 45 years.  He was of the Christian faith and was a veteran of the Unites States Navy in which he so proudly served.  He liked going hunting and fishing.  He was an avid gun collector and also collected rare coins.  Most of all he loved being with his family.

Surviving Charles is his wife Donna M. Seitz Campbell of Vanceburg, Kentucky.

Two daughters- Connie (Russell) Kent of Vanceburg, Kentucky and Brenda Campbell of Cincinnati, Ohio.

Two sons- Billy Campbell and Jimmy Campbell both of Cincinnati, Ohio.  Two-grandchildren- Cody Offill and Crystal Kent both of Vanceburg, Kentucky.  3- great- grandsons and several nieces and nephews along with many friends who also will mourn his passing.

Preceded in death beside his parents was a grandson- David Nichols, two sisters- Norma Reddington and Wilma Taylor, 4-brothers- Daniel Campbell, Paul Campbell, David Campbell, and Tommy Campbell.

A Memorial service will be held Friday December 20, 2024 at 6:00 pm at the Gaydos Funeral Home 159 2nd street Vanceburg, Ky. 41179.

Visitation will be Friday December 20, 2024 from 5-6 pm at the funeral home.
