Charles F. Gilliam

Mr. Charles F. Gilliam, Age 80 of Vanceburg, Ky. Passed away Thursday at his home November 12, 2015 after a brief illness. Charles was born in Lewis County, Ky. July 17, 1935 to the late William and Callie Riley Gilliam.

Charles was of the Christian Faith. Also worked for Thomas Sawmill for over 25 years. He was a handyman doing various jobs for people around the city and county. He loved walking around town and stopping to talk to everyone that he met.

Surviving are 3-sisters Nannie Ethel Lambert, Dollie Lee Jarrells, and Mary Blankenship all of Vanceburg, Ky.

Several nieces and nephews also survive who will mourn his passing.

Preceded in death were 3-brothers- Chesley, Richard, and Forest Gilliam. One sister- Bessie Sullivan.

Funeral services will be Monday November 16, 2015 @ 1:00 p.m. At the Gaydos Funeral Home 159 2^nd street Vanceburg, Ky. 41179 with Brother Tony Corns officiating. Burial will follow in the Evans cemetery Town Branch, Ky.
