Cheslee H. Willis, Age 80, of Vanceburg passed away at his home Saturday June 3^rd, 2017 with his family by his side after an extended illness.

 

Cheslee was born in Garrison, Kentucky September 27, 1936 to the late Hobert and Hazel Logan Willis. Cheslee was an auto mechanic for the Goodwin Chevrolet dealership here in Vanceburg for 24 years. After which he became forman for the sanitation department for the city of Vanceburg for 22 years from where he retired.

 

Surviving Cheslee is a daughter- Kathy (Kenny) McCann of Vanceburg, Ky.

Four grandchildren Rickey (Jennifer) Underwood Jr., Katie (Dewey) Gibson, Kirsten (Jarrett) Noble, and Kolby McCann.

Two-great-grandsons- Archer and Leland Gibson and one great-granddaughter- Christina Cicarelli.

Caregivers for Cheslee – Fredia, Debbie, and Tracy.

 

Preceded in death beside his parents was a daughter Cevia Bloomfield in 2013.

Funeral services will be Tuesday June 6^th, 2017 @ 1:00 pm at the Gaydos Funeral Home with Brother Lynn White officiating. Burial will follow in Lewis County Memory Gardens Black Oak, Kentucky.

 

Visitation will be Monday June 5^th, 2017 from 5-8 pm and from 8:00am until time of services Tuesday at the Gaydos Funeral Home 159 2^nd street Vanceburg, Ky. 41179.

Pallbearers for Cheslee Willis are Rickey Underwood Jr., Rickey Underwood Sr., Harry Carrington, Kolby McCann, Eric Switzer, and Richard Evans. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Hobbs and Adam Shank.
