Christopher ‘Rocky’ Applegate, Age 47, of Vanceburg, Kentucky passed away Tuesday April 26^th, 2022 with his loving family by his side at his home.

Rocky as he was known by family and friends was born in Portsmouth, Ohio March 15^th, 1975 to the late Clifford Applegate and Rosemary Cooper Applegate of Vanceburg.  Rocky loved going to flea markets and auctions.  He also liked working on satellites, and on his cars.  He was a BIG country music fan.  Rocky was of the Christian faith.

Left to cherish Rocky’s memories is his wife Josie Gilliam Applegate of Vanceburg, Ky.

Mother- Rosemary Cooper Applegate of Vanceburg, Ky.

Daughter- Amber (Anthony Mosley) Applegate of Vanceburg, Ky.

Sons- Nathan Applegate of Vanceburg, Ky., and Grant McClurg of Florida.

Grandchildren whom he was so very proud of Conway, Waverlee, Sydnee, and Makayla.

Sister- Debbie Rowe of Vanceburg, Ky.  Brothers- Lee Rowe and George Rowe both of Vanceburg, Ky.

Preceded in death by his father- Clifford Applegate in January 27, 2006.

Graveside services will be held Friday April 29^th, 2022 at 1:00 pm at the Cooper-Willis cemetery Garrison, Kentucky with Brother Rick Buckner officiating.

Pallbearers for Christopher ‘Rocky’ Applegate will be Anthony Mosley, Clifford McGinnis, Jack Gilliam, Cecil Bloomfield, Nathan Applegate, and Grant McClurg.
