Mr. Cloyd Joe ‘Coke’ Bloomfield, Age 70, of Vanceburg, Kentucky passed away Saturday March 29, 2025 with his family by his side at the Vanceburg Hills Nursing facility in Vanceburg, Kentucky

Coke as he was called by family and friends was born in Mansfield, Ohio August 24, 1954 to the late Lloyd and Joann Fry Bloomfield Sr.  Coke, like playing his guitar and socializing with his family and friends.  Never met a stranger and was always ready to lend a helping hand to his neighbors.  He was of the Christian faith.

Left to cherish his memories is a daughter- Mary Jo Bloomfield of Garrison, Kentucky.

One son- George (Robin) Bloomfield of Vanceburg, Kentucky.

Three sisters- Nancy Knell-Bucyrus, Ohio; Patty Highfield- Nevada, Ohio, and Donna Campbell-Vanceburg, Kentucky.

Two brothers- General Bud Bloomfield; and Roger (Ellen) Bloomfield both of Bucyrus, Ohio.  Five grandchildren- Mackenzie, Trenton, Samantha, Lindsey, and Ariel.  Along with many nieces and nephews, cousins who will mourn his passing.

Preceded in death beside his parents were two sisters- Louanna Noggle and Margaret Ann (Peggy) Weiler.  Two brothers- Lloyd Bloomfield Jr., and James Michael Bloomfield.  Grandson- Joshua Matthew Bloomfield.  Two nieces- Kelly Jo Bloomfield and Belinda Nicole Bloomfield.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday April 2, 2025 at 12:00 pm at the Morgan cemetery at the Head of Grassy with Brother Tony Corns officiating.  Burial will follow.

Gaydos Funeral Home is caring for the family of Cloyd Joe ‘Coke’ Bloomfield.
