Dale Russell Eltzroth

Mr. Dale Russell Eltzroth, Age 65, of Vanceburg, Kentucky passed away March 22, 2022 with his family by his side at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio.

Dale was born in Wilmington, Ohio February 19, 1957 to the late Russell Eugene Eltzroth and Pearl Faye Evans Flynn of Mason, Ohio.

Dale, worked in construction in Ohio, Kentucky, and Texas.  He loved tinkering with old cars, and was very fond of antique cars.  Also loved his dogs.  Dale was of the Pentecostal faith.

Left to cherish his memories is his wife whom he married July 15, 2017 in West Portsmouth, Ohio Carol Reynolds Eltzroth.

Mother- Pearl Faye Evans Flynn of Mason, Ohio.

Sister- Connie (Nick) Wilson of Wilmington, Ohio.

A special nephew- Justin Young of Clarksville, Ohio.

Two daughters- Rebecca Montgomery of Flemingsburg, Kentucky, and Virginia Anne Montgomery of Morehead, Kentucky.

Son- Edward Owen Montgomery, of Columbia, South Carolina.

Step-sister- Amy Armstrong Collins of Wilmington, Ohio.

Four grandchildren- Aria Marie Jones, Lane Colton Moore, Alyssa Moore, and Kylynn Lily Temperance Montgomery.

Two special friends John and Jeff Thurman of Vanceburg, Kentucky.

Many cousins and friends also survive who will mourn his passing.

Preceded in death beside his father was his step father Jack Flynn and step brother Tom Armstrong.  Cousin Jeffrey Lee Wilson.

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday April 10, 2022 from 2-5pm at Mac D’s 1400 W. Locust Street Wilmington, Ohio.
