David L. Cassidy

David L. Cassidy, Age 65, of Vanceburg, Kentucky passed away Sunday August 20, 2023 at the Kobacker Hospice Facility in Columbus, Ohio.

David was born in Portsmouth, Ohio August 13, 1958 to the late James Everett and Christine Moore Cassidy.  David worked for the Federal Mogul plant and Crystal Tissue Manufacturing Company in Maysville, Kentucky.  He loved to go hunting in his and do small engine repairs in his spare time.  David was a member of the Southern Manor Baptist Church.

Surviving David is his wife of 20 years whom he married July 17, 2003 in Quincy, Kentucky Sandra Fields Cassidy of Vanceburg, Kentucky.

Three daughters- Debbie (Eli) Johnson of Cynthiana, Kentucky; Dolly Mock of El Paso, Texas, and Linda Ann (John) Fields of Garrison, Kentucky.

One son- David Lee Fields Jr. of Quincy, Kentucky.

6-grandchildren also survive who will mourn his passing.

Preceded in death beside his parents was a twin brother in infancy Dennis Dean Cassidy.

Graveside services will be held Thursday August 24, 2023 at 10:00 am at the family home 54 Dogwood Drive Vanceburg, Kentucky 41179 with Reverend Arthur Moore officiating.

Gaydos Funeral Home is caring for all arrangements for David L. Cassidy.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
