Deborah Kegley Obituary
Deborah A. Kegley, Age 66, of Tollesboro, Kentucky passed away Wednesday November 11th, 2020 at the Southern Ohio Medical Hospice Center in Portsmouth, Ohio.
Deborah was born in Portsmouth, Ohio May 11th, 1954 to the late Boyd Raymond and Eva Rosetta Liles Evans. Deborah worked for the U.S. Shoe Corporation in Vanceburg for over 20 years, and worked for Walmart as an associate in Portsmouth, Ohio and Maysville, Ky. Debbie love to be outside doing gardening, fishing, boating, and kayaking. She loved to craft making quilts, or anything she would create with her artistic skills. She attended Grace Baptist Church in Garrison, Ky.
Left to cherish Deborah’s legacy are two daughters- Andrea Kegley of Vanceburg, Ky., and Melissa Leach of Ft. Myers, Florida.
Three grandchildren- Emma and Aaron Skidmore, and Morgan Leach.
Two sisters- Kay (Fred) Underwood of South Portsmouth, Ky.; Betty Applegate of Garrison, Ky.
Three brothers- Jerry Evans and Don (Linda) Evans both of Bucyrus, Ohio, Boyd Evans Jr. and his wife Cathy of Garrison, Ky. Brother-in-law- Jim Moore.
Preceded in death beside her parents was her husband David Lee Kegley July 17, 2017. Brother- James Robert Evans, sister- Evelyn Moore, brother-in-law- Ronnie Dean Applegate, and sister-in-law Naomi Chapman Evans.
Funeral services will be Sunday November 15, 2020 at 1:00 pm at the Gaydos Funeral Home with Brother Brad Stone officiating.
Visitation will be Saturday November 14, 2020 from 5-8 pm at the Gaydos Funeral Home and from 8;00am until time of services Sunday at the funeral home.
