Delbert Leo ‘Buck’ Crawford, Age 92, of Vanceburg, Kentucky went to be with his Lord and Saviour Friday December 8, 2023 at the Life Care Center of Morehead in Morehead, Kentucky.

Buck, as he was known by family and friends was born in Clearfield, Kentucky November 19, 1931 to the late Leroy and Ruth Pearl Kilgore Crawford.

Buck was an ordained minister of the Kentucky Christian Conference since 1968 where he served the Lord for 55 years.  He was a member of Thacker’s Chapel Christian Church where he served many years as a Sunday School teacher. He also attended Blankenship Christian Holiness Church.  He also enjoyed playing his guitar and singing.  He also enjoyed gardening and canning.  Buck loved talking to his neighbors.  Most of all Buck loved going to church and talking to people about God.  Buck also worked for C J Thomas & Son sawmill for 35 years.

Preceded Buck in death beside his parents was his wife Helen Marie Stamm Crawford of 66 years in 2019.

Sisters- Olive Frances Wells, Ruby Irene Crawford, and Ella Margaret Crawford in infancy.

Brothers- Bill Crawford, Clifford Crawford and Everett Clifton Crawford and Cecil Clark Crawford in infancy.

Surviving are nine nieces and nephews along with his church family.

Graveside services will be Monday December 11, 2023 at 1:00 pm at the Thomas Cemetery Lewis County, Kentucky with Brother Lonnie Eden officiating.  Burial will follow.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers for Mr. Delbert Leo ‘Buck’ Crawford.
