Dennis Randall Patton

Dennis Randall Patton, Age 62, passed away Wednesday December 18, 2024 at the Edgewood Manor of Lucasville in Lucasville, Ohio.

Randy, as he was known by family and friends was born in Portsmouth, Ohio June 11, 1962 to the late Paul and Goldie Hobbs Patton.  In his earlier years Randy worked for TRW in Maysville, Kentucky and U.S. Shoe factory in Vanceburg, Kentucky.  He owned and operated an Auto Repair shop, liked to go hunting and fishing, his passion was drag racing cars and going golfing.

Randy was of the Christian faith.  He also loved riding his bike thru out Lewis County.

Surviving Randy is his only son- Travis (Lacey) Patton of Vanceburg, Kentucky.

Two grandsons- Reid Patton and Remy Patton.

Three sisters- Barb Gilbert and Debbie Cooper both of Vanceburg, Kentucky; Judy Eldridge of Lexington, Kentucky.

Four brothers- Tony (Heather) Patton of Garrison, Kentucky; Dobo Patton, Danny Patton, and Allen Patton all of Vanceburg, Kentucky.

Preceded Randy in death beside his parents was a sister- Jo Ann Crawford.

A Memorial service will be held Friday January 3, 2025 at 6:00 pm at the Gaydos Funeral Home 159 2nd street Vanceburg, Kentucky 41179 with Paul Crawford officiating.

Visitation will be Friday January 3, 2025 from 4-6 pm at the Gaydos Funeral Home.

Burial will take place Saturday January 4, 2025 at 1:00 pm at the Evans Cemetery Town Branch, Kentucky.
