Mr. Donald R. Bloomfield, Age 84, of Vanceburg, Kentucky passed away Wednesday January 22, 2020 at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio.

Donald was born in Lewis County, Ky.  November 26, 1935 to the late Harlan and Cynthia Horsley Bloomfield.

Donald worked in road construction all his life.  He was a member of the New Hope Community Church in Olive Hill, Kentucky.

Left to cherish Donald’s memories is his wife of 45 years whom he married January 3^rd, 1975 in Vanceburg, Ky. Betty Duff Bloomfield of Vanceburg.

Daughters- Cindy Bloomfield (Andy Bond) of Grahn, Kentucky; and Lisa (Roger) Zornes of Emerson, Ky.

One son- Larry (Connie) Stacy of Vanceburg, Ky.

One sister- Wilma (Bill) Vansicle of South Shore, Ky.

Grandchildren- Andra Bond, Jordyn Bond, Mya Bond, Scott Stacy, Aimee Pennington, Becky Hundley, Larry Stacy II, Amanda Howard, and Ashley Burns.  Along with several great-grandchildren who will also mourn his passing.

Preceded in death beside his parents 3-sisters- Lorrine Rickett, Dinah Nolen, and Cophene Ruckel.  4-brothers Tony, James, Sebert, and Lincoln Bloomfield. One grandson- Eli Stacy.

Funeral services will be Sunday January 26^th, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at the Gaydos Funeral Home 159 2^nd street Vanceburg, Kentucky 41179 with Brother Daniel Miller officiating.  Burial will follow at the Bloomfield family cemetery on Dummitt Branch.

Friends may call Sunday January 26, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home.

Pallbearers for Donald R. Bloomfield will be Steve Pennington, Larry Stacy, John Howard, Scott Stacy, Chris Burns, and Larry P. Stacy.
