Obituary

 

 

Mr. Donald L. Ginn I, Age 68, of Vanceburg, Kentucky passed away Sunday January 1, 2023 with his loving family by his side at Southern Ohio Medical Center unexpectedly.

Donald was born in Lewis County, Kentucky October 28, 1954 to the late Junior Tackett and Virginia Ginn.  Donald was an Iron worker for the Toyota plant in Georgetown, Kentucky.  He was a member of the Trace Fork Christian Holiness Church.  Donald love going to church with his wife and family.  He loved being outdoors enjoying nature and especially watching the hummingbirds around his home.  Love spending time with his grandchildren whom he adored.

Left to cherish Donald’s memories is his wife Kathy Dyer Ginn of Vanceburg, Kentucky

One daughter-Misty Ginn of Ocala, Florida

One son- Donald ‘Duck’ Ginn II and his wife Jamie of Vanceburg, Kentucky.

Sister- Freda Ginn of Garrison, Kentucky.

One granddaughter- Brooklyn Thurman, and a great-grandson- Weston Zornes.

A Memorial service will be held Saturday January 7, 2023 at 11:00 am at the Gaydos Funeral Home 159 2nd street Vanceburg, Kentucky 41179 with Brothers Terry and Adam Cooper officiating.
