Dora E. Johnson

Ms. Dora E. Johnson, Age 76, of Garrison, Kentucky passed away Thursday November 23^rd, 2017 at Southern Ohio Medical Center Portsmouth, Ohio after a brief illness.

Dora was born in Vanceburg, Kentucky October 21, 1941 to the late William and Hattie Grayson Lightner. Dora worked as a cook for the Ashland Oil Company for several years. She was also a homemaker. Dora loved to cook and was a collector of owls and bears. She attended the Evans Chapel Church on Town Branch.

Surviving Dora are Two daughters- Sue Ann (Glenn) Goerner and Carolina McKinney both of Vanceburg, Kentucky.

Three sons- Paul Wright and (Barbra) Lightner, and Eddie Dean (Kelly) Wright of Vanceburg, Ky.

Jackie Wright of Alexandria, Ky.

Sisters- Diane Bivens and Candy Hamilton both of Vanceburg, Ky.

Brothers- Jimmy Lightner and Woody Lightner both of Tollesboro, Ky.

Donnie and David Lightner of Vanceburg, Ky.

Elmer (Kathleen) Lightner of Vanceburg, Ky.

10 grandchildren and 14-great-grandchildren also survive who will mourn her passing.

Preceded in death beside her parents was her 1^st husband- Paul Wright, 2^nd husband James Johnson and her 3^rd husband James Fyffe. One daughter- Rosie Wright, two brothers- Terry and Albert Lightner and one sister- Mary Hammonds.

Friends and family will serve as pallbearers for Dora E. Johnson.

Graveside services will be held Monday November 27^th, 2017 at 11:00am at her sons home Garrison, Kentucky with Pastor Chris Lawhun officiating.

Burial will follow at the Wright family cemetery Garrison, Kentucky.
