Helen Doris Johnson, Age 88, passed away June 10, 2026. Doris was born May 20, 1938 in Manly Hollow in Vanceburg, Kentucky to the late Cecil H. and Lizzie Manley
Doris was a member of the Aberdeen Baptist Church and loved her church dearly. She enjoyed traveling and camping. She loved her family and her sweet dog Prissy.
She is preceded in death beside her parents is her husband, Jerry Johnson. Her daughter Carmilla Jo Kegley. Three brothers Raymond Polley, Herb Polley, and Johnny Polley. Four sisters Louella Butler, Oleta Stone, Mildred Simpson, and Ruby Arthurs. Two nephews Eddie Simpson, and Billy Polley.
Left to cherish her memory is her sister Garneda (Bob) Chinn, of Chillicothe, Ohio. Her beloved dog Prissy and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services for Doris will be held at a later date at her church in Aberdeen, Ohio.
