Ms. Dovie Pauline Hill, Age 80, passed away Thursday April 19, 2018 at Vanceburg Rehabilitation and Care Center after an extended illness.

 

Dovie was born in Lewis County, Kentucky March 8, 1938 to the late Clarence and Sarah DeLong Dyer. She was a homemaker and enjoyed canning. She was of the Christian faith, enjoyed singing in church, and loved chickens.

 

Surviving Dovie is her daughter Rita Ebbels of Erith Kent United Kingdom.

3 Granddaughters Racheal Sandlin of Bad Axe, Michigan , Heidi Sandlin of Chatfield, Ohio, and Sarah Crane of Erith Kent United Kingdom

9 Great Grandchildren

Several Nieces and Nephews also survive

 

Preceded Dovie in death beside her parents was 6 Brothers Her twin Paul Dyer, Walter Dyer, Ray Dyer, Adrian Dyer, Norman Dyer, and Ben Dyer

3 Sisters Elma Dyer, Francis Helinski, and Bertha Adkins

 

Funeral Services will be held Monday April 23^rd, 2018 at 11:00am at the Gaydos Funeral Home 159 2^nd street Vanceburg, Ky. 41179 with Pastor John M. Byard officiating. Burial will follow in the Hannibal Shope Cemetery Vanceburg, Ky.

 

Visitation will be Sunday April 22, 2018 from 5-8pm and from 8:00am until the time of services Monday at the funeral home.
