Earl Wayne Watson, Age 88, of Columbus, Ohio passed away Tuesday April 5, 2022.  Earl attended Community Free Will Baptist Church, he was a self-employed contractor throughout his lifetime.  Earl lived a full and happy life and will be remembered as one of the kindest and most wonderful human beings.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Hubert and Rachel Watson; daughter, Pamela Logan; sisters, Geri Dewey, and Vivian Lykins; brother, Kenneth Watson.

Earl is survived by his loving wife Shirley of 49 years; children, Michele Clay, James Watson, Stacey Mackey, Jeff (Helen) Watson, Rick (Carolyn) Watson, Rhonda Helphensteine; siblings, Doris Stamm, Frank Watson, Alma (Floyd) Gilbert, Wendell (Marge) Watson; many loving grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.  Special thanks to grandchildren: Zach (Mersadies) Clay, Kayla, BrieAnna Clay, and Corey Watson.

Visitation will be Thursday April 14, 2022 from 5- 6:30 pm at the Rader-McDonald-Tidd Funeral Home, 1355 W. Main Street, West Jefferson, Ohio 43162. The Funeral Service will immediately follow visitation at 6:30 P.M., with Pastor Jerry Newman officiating.

Further services will be handled by Gaydos Funeral Home 159 Second Street, Vanceburg, KY., 41179 Saturday, April 16, 2022, with visitation from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M.  Funeral Service will immediately follow visitation at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Harry Meadows officiating.  Interment will follow at Esham Cemetery, Petersville, Kentucky.
