Mr. Edwin L. Starrett, Age 53, of Clearwater, Florida died December 25th, 2017 at the Mease Country Side Hospital in Safety Harbor, Florida after an extended illness.
Edwin was born in Cincinnati, Ohio June 6th, 1964 to Roger Lee and Carolyn Fredrick Starrett of Peebles, Ohio.
Edwin was in management for the T.J. Max Company in Largo, Florida. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Bethel, Ohio and Dunedin, Florida. He enjoyed going camping & hiking and was an avid fisherman. He also loved going to the beach to relax and have fun.
Surviving Edwin is his husband whom he married August 20th, 2005 Robert Bevins Starrett of Clearwater, Florida.
Two daughters- Nicole Haygood Stickney and her husband Tony of West Chester, Ohio; Crystal Bevins of Allentown, PA.
Two sons- Steven Smith of Hamilton, Ohio and Jacob Smith of Milford, Ohio.
Three sisters- Carol Fay Smith and her husband Danny of Payneville, Ky., Rita Schaeffer and her husband Mike of Bethel, Ohio; and Dena Riddle and her husband Ken of Williamsburg, Ohio.
One brother- Robert and his wife Jackie Starrett of Peebles, Ohio.
Preceded in death was his Maternal and Paternal grandparents, one niece Ashley Clayton.
Funeral Service will be Monday January 1, 2018 at 1:00pm at the Gaydos Funeral Home 159 2nd Street Vanceburg, Ky. 41179 with James Travis officiating. Burial will follow in the Muses Mills Cemetery Fleming, County, Ky.
Visitation will be Monday January 1, 2018 from 11:00am until time of services at the funeral home.
Pallbearers for Mr. Edwin L. Starrett will be Joshua Clayton, Brian Schaeffer, Matthew Smith, Jacob Smith, Frank Thomas and Art Cummins.
