Eugene “Pic” Hill Jr., 75 of Vanceburg, KY. passed away on September 24, 2022 surrounded by family and loved ones.

Pic was born on November 24, 1946 in Vanceburg, KY. to Eugene Hill Sr. and Jeanette Pollitt.

Pic was proceeded in death by his parents, two granddaughters; Bethany and Sierra, grandson Heath and wife Shirley.

Pic is survived by his brothers James (Diane) Hill of Ribolt, Kentucky, and Roger (Vickie) Evans of Vanceburg, Kentucky, as well as his eight children; Barbara (James) Kwolik of Winona, Minnesota, Sharon (Tracy) Zornes of Canton, Ohio, Debra (Terry) Embry of Morgantown, Kentucky, Steven Hill of Morgantown, Kentucky, David Hill of Vanceburg, Kentucky, Jimmy (Cassie) Hill of Vanceburg, Kentucky, Michael Hill of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Michelle (Chris) Wachter of Augusta, Kentucky. Pic had twenty grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren, and lifelong friend Kay Walters of Vanceburg, Kentucky.

Pic went to work at an early age as he was a tireless worker and was retired from Peoples Self Help Housing. Pic enjoyed being with his family, playing pool and going to swap meets.

Visitation for Pic will be on Wednesday September 28, 2022 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Gaydos Funeral Home and funeral services will be held on Thursday September 29, 2022 at 2:00pm at Slate Hollow Pentecostal Church. Services will be officiated by Brother Danny Cooley who Pic loved as though he were his son.

Serving as pallbearers will be Pic’s grandsons; Stephen Andrew Hill, Danny Ray Cooley, Austin Hill, Damian Hill, Ryan Hill, Dawson Hill, Christopher Kwolik, Coy Hill, Issac Adams and Dylan Hill.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Pic’s great grandsons; Stetson Hill, Daxton Hill, Chandler Hill, Levi Hill and Kayden Hill
