Evelyn Ann (Sexton) Dunaway

Evelyn Ann Dunaway, Age 73, passed away Monday February 13, 2023 at her home with her family by her side. She was born to the late Thomas and Williejean Holbrook Sexton on August 8, 1949.

Evelyn loved to play card games such as rummy and uno amongst others. She loved spending time with her family especially her kids and grandkids. She enjoyed working at the nursing home with her “people”.

Evelyn is survived by one son Ralph (Katrina) Sexton of Vanceburg, Ky. Three Daughters Sherry Dunaway of Vanceburg, Ky, Tina (Ray) Stamper of Garrison, Ky, and Deborah (Brent) Bloomfield of Laurel, Ky.        12 Grandchildren Jesse Sexton, Joselyn Johnson, Brian Dummitt, Dallas Sexton, Sydney Noble, Kenny Scott, Astin Butler, Jaden Stamper, Alexis Suddeerth, Tyana Sudderth, Caden Bloomfield, and Eli Bloomfield. 7 Great Grandchildren and one on the way. One Brother Tommy Sexton.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd Dunaway, Grandson Stanley Ray Stamper, Two Brothers Frank Sexton Sr., and Don Sexton. One Sister Thelma Maggard.

Services will be Sunday at 1:00 p.m. at the Gaydos Funeral Home 159 second street Vanceburg, Ky 41179. With Brother Tim Underwood officiating. Burial will follow in the Lewis County Memory Gardens Black Oak, Kentucky.
