Farrell Mustard Obituary

Farrell R. Mustard, Age 77, of Vanceburg, Kentucky passed away Thursday April 24, 2025 surrounded by his loving family at his home after a brief illness.

Farrell, was born in Lewis County, Kentucky June 3, 1947 to the late Ollie f. and Mabel Mae Tackett Mustard.  Farrell worked for Douglas Manufacturing in Elyria, Ohio in his earlier years.  From there he and his wife JoAnn moved back to Lewis County where he worked for the U.S. Shoe Factory.  He also worked for FKI logistics in Maysville, Kentucky and worked in construction for the Eastern Kentucky Power Company.  Ferrell was an avid outdoorsman hunting and collecting Arrowheads, going deer hunting, turkey hunting, and fishing.

Preceded him in death beside his parents was his wife JoAnn Burgess Mustard in 2014.  Sister- Magdelene Sparks, brothers- Terry Mike Mustard, Larry Mustard and two step-sons- David and Michael Dyer.

Left to cherish his memories is a daughter- Kelley (Ronald) Armstrong of Wallingford, Kentucky.

Son- Farrell Roger Mustard II of Vanceburg, Kentucky

Brother- Dale (Lois) Mustard of Tollesboro, Kentucky.

His grandchildren- Kayla Dawn Armstrong and her fiance’ Cass Toller, Shauna ‘Gabby’ (Jason) Stout, Hayden Blake Mustard, Austin Kyle Mustard, David (Lisa) Dyer, and Danny (Aimee) Dyer.  8-great-grandchildren along with many other family and friends who also will mourn his passing.

Visitation for Farrell R. Mustard will be Tuesday April 29, 2025 from 5-8 p.m. at the Gaydos Funeral Home 159 2nd street Vanceburg, Kentucky 41179.

Burial will be at a later date at the convenience of the family.
