Frank (Jr.) Crawford

Mr. Frank Crawford Jr., Age 85, passed away Saturday January 14, 2023 at the Southern Ohio Medical  Hospice Center.

Frank was born on November 18, 1937 to the late Frank and Hattie Pitt Crawford. Frank was a self-employed Logger and Farmer and was an extremely hard-working man. He loved being at home with his chainsaw and the woods. In his younger years he enjoyed dirt track racing and even had his own race car at one point.

He was preceded in death beside his parents by Three brothers Archie Crawford, Edward Crawford, and Ray Crawford. Six sisters Gladys Stamm, Imogene King, Margie Meadows, Mayme Sparks, Dorothy Stamm, and Edna Stamm.

Surviving is his wife Ruth Esham Crawford whom he married on March 14, 1956 and they were together for over 67 years. Two Daughters Maria (Bill) Conley of Vanceburg, Ky, and Melinda (Bud) Stafford of Vanceburg, Ky. One Son George (Kimberly) Crawford of Vanceburg, Ky. 10 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren also survive.

Services for Frank Crawford Jr. will be Tuesday January 17, 2023 at the Gaydos Funeral Home 159 second street Vanceburg, Ky 41179 at 2:00 p.m. with Brother Butch Kelsey officiating. Burial will immediately follow at the Thomas cemetery on Indian.
