Gayle Roger Ruark

Gayle Roger Ruark, Age 76, of Vanceburg, Kentucky passed away Monday February 19, 2024 at the Vanceburg Rehabilitation & Health Care Center.

Roger, was born in Portsmouth, Ohio June 24, 1947 to the late Rival and Olive Dummitt Ruark.  Roger was a truck driver and worked for the EPES transport company in North Carolina.  He was a member of the Quincy Church of Christ.

Most of all he LOVED his family and adored his grandchildren.

Roger was preceded in death beside his parents was his wife of 39 years Vena Pearl Osborne Ruark in 2007.  Two brothers- Glenn Ruark and Gary Ruark.

Left to cherish Roger’s memories is a daughter- Ashley (David) Lucas of Vanceburg, Kentucky.

Four grandchildren- Jessica, Brennan, Jerra, and Ransam Lucas.  Many friends who also will mourn his passing.

At Rogers’ request there will be no services at this time.

A family gathering is being planned later at the convenience of the family.
