Helen Lou Rizzo

Helen Lou Rizzo, Age 69, of Vanceburg, Kentucky passed away at her home Thursday January 20^th, 2022.

Lou, was born in Vanceburg, Kentucky July 20^th, 1952 to the late Ignazio George and Mildred Clark Rizzo.  Lou was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Vanceburg.  She loved doing her crafts in which she took great pride in.  She loved her family and adored her grandchildren and great-grandson.

Left to cherish Lou’s memories is a daughter- Cassie Abbott (Beth Garrison) of Maysville, Kentucky.

Son- Tony (Theresa) Rizzo of Vanceburg, Kentucky.

Sister- Carolyn Sue Martin of Stanford, Kentucky.

Grandchildren- Kelsey Rizzo, Logan (Morgan) Cooper, Mykaela Bevins, A.J. Rizzo, and Phoenix Rizzo.  Great-grandson Jonah Cooper.  Many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews along with other family and friends who will mourn her passing.

Preceded in death beside her parents was a brother Danny Steele.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday January 27^th, 2022 at 10:00 am at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church with Fr. Andrew Young celebrant.  Burial will be at Lewis County Memory Gardens in Black Oak, Kentucky at a later date.

Visitation will be Wednesday January 26^th, 2022 from 6-8 pm at the Gaydos Funeral Home 159 2^nd street Vanceburg, Kentucky 41179.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Women’s Crisis Center 111 3^rd Street Maysville, Kentucky 41056.
