James Elza Howard, Age 75, of Quincy, Kentucky passed away Friday January 17, 2025 at his home.  James was born in Lewis County, Kentucky September 2, 1949 to the late Russell and Marjorie Clark Howard.  James was in the construction business for most all of his life working in the Columbus area.  He also made jewelry in his spare time.  James was a very kind and loving soul who would help others in time of need.

James is survived by one daughter, sisters - Fannie Hastings of London, Ohio, and Rose Rickman of Springfield, Ohio.

Brothers- Michael Howard, Russell Howard, of Columbus, Ohio: and Thomas Howard of London, Ohio.

His companion Beulah Rister of Quincy, Kentucky

Several nieces and nephews along with many friends also survive who will mourn his passing.

Preceded in death beside his parents was a daughter and sister- Bessie Kennedy.

At the family’s request there will be no services at this time.  Services will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
