James Mike Moore, Age 60, of Vanceburg, Kentucky passed away Wednesday September 12, 2018 at Southern Ohio Medical Center.
Mike was born in Vanceburg, Kentucky May 1, 1958 to the late Wilford and Garnet Smith Moore. Mike was a mechanic for Glockner's in Portsmouth, Ohio. He worked for Thomas saw mill and Taylor saw mill in West Portsmouth, Ohio. He loved to fish and attend dirt track racing. He was a avid baseball fan and his favorite team was the L.A. Dodgers.
Surviving Mike are two-Sisters Barbara (Michael) Stamm of Wallingford, Ky and Stephanie (Mark) Curtis of Morehead, Ky
One brother David Alan Moore of Pelham, Georgia.
10- nephews- Neil Thornsberry, Ashton R. Moore, Mark J. Moore, Phillip P. Stamm, Brian K. Stamm, Jason Buckner, Donnie A. Moore, Chad Stamm, Jacob Buckner, and Sean Moore. 2-nieces- Shania May Moore and Amber Buckner.
One- great nephew Dalton Stamm and one great niece Haley Stamm.
Preceded in death beside his parents was his son Jerrod Moore and a brother Mark Moore
Visitation for Mike will be Saturday September 15, 2018 from 10:00a.m. Until the time of services at the Gaydos Funeral Home 159 2nd street Vanceburg, Ky 41179.
Services will be Saturday September 15, 2018 at 1:00p.m. With Reverend Arthur Moore officiating. Burial will follow in the Webster Cemetery Lewis County, Ky.
The family will serve as pallbearers.
