James N. Elliott

September 28, 1943 ~ December 28, 2015 (age 72)


Mr. James N. Elliott, Age 72, of Wallingford, Kentucky passed away Monday December 28, 2015 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky after an extended illness.


James was born in Lewis County, Kentucky September 28, 1943 to the late James H. and Zella Cropper Elliott. Jim was a truck driver. Jim worked for 17 years at Ripps Farm Supply in Tollesboro. He was a bus driver for the Licking Valley Inc. in Flemingsburg. Jim like to spend time outdoors hunting and fishing. He was of the Christian faith. He loved his dog 'Daisy' and loved to have cookouts with his family. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.


Surviving are his two daughters- Teresa Robbins of Vanceburg, Ky., Cindy (Kevin) Cooley of Tollesboro, Ky.

Three sons- Jerry N. (Jayne) Elliott of Tollesboro, Ky., James Elliott of Vanceburg, Ky., and Kyle (Jennifer) Elliott of Flemingsburg, Ky.

Special friend Patricia Holt of Tollesboro, Ky.

Four sisters- Judy (Jerry) Meranda- Batavia, Ohio, Phyllis (Lowell) Hester- Maysville, Ky., Jewell (Von) Himes- Mesa, Arizona, and Gayle Yingst of Follansbee, West Virginia. 8-grandchildren and 3-great-grandchildren also survive who will mourn his passing.


Preceded in death beside his parents were 3-sisters- Nina Mullikin, Imogene Applegate, and Muzetta Claypool.

4-brothers- Dannie, Warren, Clyde, and Dean Elliott.

One-grandson- Brandon Hale.


A memorial service will be held later at the convience of the family.
