Mr. Jerry D. Corns, Age 65, of Tollesboro, Kentucky passed away at his home Sunday October 29, 2017 after a long battle with cancer. Jerry was born in Lexington, Kentucky December 18, 1951 to the late Harry Crump and Hazel Jones of Florence, Kentucky.

 

Jerry was a farmer, and also worked for Millcron Industries in Cincinnati. He also worked for the Cottonmill in Maysville. Jerry was of the Christian Faith. Jerry was a veteran of the United States Army in which he so proudly served.

 

Surviving Jerry is his mother- Hazel Jones of Florence, Kentucky

Daughter- Tonya Corns of Vanceburg, Kentucky.

Many friends and neighbors who will also mourn his passing.

 

Preceded him in death beside his father was his adopted Mother and Father William Edgar Corns and Laura Edna Applegate.

 

Funeral services will be Monday November 6, 2017 at 11:00am at the Gaydos Funeral Home 159 2^nd street Vanceburg, Kentucky 41179 with Brother Phil Cropper officiating. Burial will follow in the Burtonville Cemetery.

 

Friends may call Monday from 10:00 am until time of services at the funeral home.

 

Military graveside rites will be accorded by the Monte Lewis Stamm V.F.W Post 5438 Vanceburg, Kentucky.
