Mr. Jerry Thomas Sparks Jr., Age 51, of Garrison, Kentucky passed away Wednesday December 29th, 2021 in Columbus, Ohio.
Tommy, as he was known by to family and friends was born in Lorain, Ohio June 9, 1970
to Jerry Thomas and Betty Dummitt Sparks of Vanceburg, Ky.
Tommy, was a member of the Carpenter Union Local 472 of Ashland, Kentucky. He loved to go deer hunting, fishing, camping, four-wheeling, and Kayaking with his family. Tommy and his wife Barb like to travel together going to different states. They also would put a garden in and do landscaping together. His favorite was playing ‘MEAN DICE’ with Barb.
Left to cherish Tommy’s memories is his wife Barbara Henline Sparks of Vanceburg, Kentucky.
Two sons- Jerry Sparks III of Black Oak, Ky., Travis Sparks of Vanceburg, Ky.
Four daughters- Tiffani Carpenter-Vanceburg, Gabrielle Sparks- Cleveland, Ohio, Cheyenne Sparks, and Rosa Sparks of Vanceburg, Ky.
Stepson- Robert Henline of Glasgow, Ky.
Sister- Theresa Carrillo of Vanceburg, Ky.
Granddaughters- Letty Sparks, Asa-Bele Sparks, Saylor Sparks all of Garrison, Ky., Kyleea Lyon and Arian Mills both of Vanceburg. Anna Henline of Glasgow, Ky., and Realynn Mills.
Grandsons-Wyatt Sparks of Tollesboro, Ky., Harley Lyon of Vanceburg, Ky., and Joshua Mills Jr.
Two nieces Alisha Montgomery and Adryanna Cottingham both of Vanceburg, Ky.
Several Aunts, Uncles, and cousins also survive who will mourn his passing.
Preceded in death was Angel Sparks in infancy.
Funeral services will be held Thursday January 6th, 2022 at 11:00am at the Gaydos Funeral Home 159 2nd street Vanceburg, Ky. 41179 with Pastor Ben Collier officiating.
Visitation will be Thursday January 6th, 2022 from 10:00 am until time of services at the funeral home.
