Mr. Joseph V. Fite, Age 85, of Vanceburg, Kentucky passed away Sunday January 3rd, 2021 at the Vanceburg Rehabilitation and Health Care Center after an extended illness.
Joe was born in Ribolt, Kentucky June 3, 1935 to the late Archie Fite Sr. and Stella May Spence. Joe worked for the U.S. Bow Factory in Vanceburg. He was an ordained minister of the Kentucky Christian Conference. Joe was Pastor of the Maloneton Church in Greenup, County, Kentucky for several years. Joe also attended and preached in several churches in the Lewis County area.
Preceded in death beside his parents was his wife Helen Fite, three sisters- Anna Cotton, Loretta Faye Fite and Welza Grayson. One brother- Archie Fite Jr.
Surviving are many nieces and nephews who will mourn his passing.
Graveside services will be 11:00 am Wednesday January 6, 2021 at Mt. Tabor cemetery Ribolt, Kentucky with Brother Tom Switzer officiating. Burial will follow.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers for Mr. Joseph V. Fite.
