Joseph M. Tolle

Mr. Joseph 'Mitch' Tolle, Age 68, of Vanceburg, Kentucky passed away with his family by his side Wednesday December 12, 2018 at the Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio after an extended illness.

Mitch, as he was known as was a MSSGT. In the United States Air Force where he served his country for 21 and a half years. He served as a Vehicle Operations Supervisor and was a Air Force Recruiter. Mitch was a Deputy Sheriff & Baliff for the Lewis County Sheriffs' office for ten years. He also was a carpenter and electrician. Mitch was of the Christian faith. He was a Loyal husband, devoted father, and a loving grandfather.

Surviving Mitch is his wife of 49 years whom he married October 17, 1969 in Vanceburg, Robyn Evans Tolle.

One daughter- Misty Jo (David) Bishop of McDonough, Georgia

One son- Joseph M.Tolle II and his wife (Christy) of Independence, Kentucky

3-grandchildren- Savannah Bishop, James-Joseph Bishop, and Madison Tolle.

Sister- Eileen Messer of Mansfield, Ohio

Mother-in-law- Mickey Evans of Vanceburg, also many nieces and nephews survive who will mourn his passing.

Preceded in death beside his parents were two sisters- Barbara Burriss and Kathleen Stafford, three brothers- James, Donald, and Allen Burriss.

Funeral services will be Sunday December 16^th, 2018 at 2:00 pm at the Petersville Church of God with Brother Rusty Evans officiating.

Friends may call Saturday December 15^th, 2018 from 6-8 pm at the Gaydos Funeral Home 159 2^nd street Vanceburg, Ky. 41179
