Ms. Karen J. Savoie, Age 52, of Vanceburg, Kentucky passed away with her family by her side Sunday May 28^th, 2017 at the Hospice of Hope Kenton Pointe Maysville, Kentucky after an extended illness.

 

Karen was born in Shelbyville, Indiana April 2, 1965 to the late James Dyer Sr. and Betty Loveall Taulbee of Garrison, Kentucky.

Karen was a photographer for the Olan Mills Company in Silver Springs, Florida as well as a automobile salesman for Mitsubishi,Honda, and Toyota in Ocala, Florida. Her hobbies included gardening, and love to play Bingo. She attended the Vanceburg Christian Church.

 

Surviving beside her mother Betty Loveall Taulbee of Garrison, Kentucky are:

Two daughters- Heather Savoie of Owensboro, Kentucky and Amanda Hill of Vanceburg, Kentucky.

One son- James Michael Savoie of LaGrange, Kentucky

Sis grandchildren- Blake Jamison, Tessa Jamison, Keira Jamison, Megan Hill, Jada Wilson & Addy Savoie.

Two sisters- Kimberly Dyer and Jamie McDaniel both of Vanceburg, Ky.

Two- step-sisters- Tammy Bivens of Garrison, Ky., Jamie Hamm of Mt. Sterling, Ky.

 

Preceded in death beside her father James Dyer Sr. was a brother James Dyer Jr.

At the familys' request there will be no visitation.

A Memorial service will be at 5:00 pm Thursday June 1^st, 2017 at the Vanceburg Christian Church with Pastor Tom Cox Jr. officiating.
