Mr. Kenneth R. Gibson, Age 87, of Quincy, Kentucky passed away Thursday August 6, 2020 at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation Cleveland, Ohio after an extended illness.
Kenneth, was born in Amherstdale, West Virginia May 2, 1933 to the late John and Esther Ruyon Gibson. Kenneth, was a veteran of the United States Army in which he served his country during the Korean Conflict.
Kenneth worked for the Dorcy International Company in Columbus, Ohio in the maintenance department from which he retired.
Preceded him in death beside his parents was his wife Kathleen Gibson in 2002, brother- James A. Gibson, sister- Thelma Arthur.
Left to cherish his memories are nieces- Johannah (Chris) Cooper of Vanceburg, Jill (Craig) Massie- Portsmouth, Ohio, and Kelly Gibson of Ohio.
Nephew- Rafe Gibson of Quincy, Kentucky and companion Lisa Clemons and Scott Wheeler of West Mansfield, Ohio.
Companion- Geneva Lewis of Vanceburg, Ky.
Friends- Linda Thayer, Kathy Lee, Brenda Kiser, Megan and Ronnie Johnson, and Joseph Kiser who also will mourn his passing.
Graveside Services will be held Sunday August 9, 2020 at 12:00 pm at the Methodist cemetery Quincy, Kentucky with Brother Travis Cooper officiating. Burial will follow.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers for Mr. Kenneth R. Gibson.
