Kenneth Staggs Obituary
Mr. Kenneth N. Staggs, Age 88, of Vanceburg, Kentucky along with his wife, Jacqueline Staggs perished December 29, 2021 due to an explosion, fire to their home on Mills Branch Road, Vanceburg, Kentucky.
Kenny was born in Lewis County, Kentucky July 4th, 1933 to the late Harry O. and Lillie Kennedy Staggs. Kenny was a self-employed truck driver. He also worked in construction, and in the logging industry. Kenneth, loved his music, always playing his guitar and attending various churches in the area as well as Ohio with his wife Jacqueline.
Kenny and Jackie were married for 71 years August 10,1950 in Vanceburg, Ky.
Surviving Kenny is three daughters- Sheila (Curtis) McGlone of Tollesboro, Ky., Lois Jean of Kentucky, and Debra (Chuck) Switzer of Vanceburg, Ky.
One son- Kenneth Staggs Jr. and his wife Kathy of Vanceburg, Ky.
Several grandchildren, along with many great, and great, great grandchildren survive who will also mourn his passing.
Preceded in death beside his parents was a brother Harry Staggs Jr.
A Memorial service will be held Friday January 7th, 2022 at 12:00 pm at the Gaydos Funeral with Brother Milt Stanfield officiating.
Visitation will be Friday January 7th 2022 at 11:00 am until time of services at the funeral home.
