Larry Roe Obituary
Mr. Larry C. (Budger) Roe, Age 69, of Lexington, Ohio formerly of Vanceburg, Kentucky passed away Monday April 23rd, 2018 at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio after an extended illness.
Larry was born in Vanceburg, Kentucky May 7, 1948 to the late James and Olive Barrett Roe. Larry worked for Westinghouse Corporation and also Electrolux Company in Mansfield, Ohio. Larry loved spending time with his friends having coffee at McDonalds' he also like to restore old cars and go to antique car shows with his friends. He also worked as a carpenter making various things. Larry was a veteran of the United States Army in which he so proudly served. He attended the North Woodbury Freewill Baptist Church.
Surviving Larry are three daughters- Gretta Roe of Morehead, Kentucky; Shelley Roe & (J.D. Morgan ) of Vanceburg, Ky. Crystal Roe of Bucyrus, Ohio.
Brother- Clinton (Janice) Roe of Wheelersburg, Ohio.
Companion- Linda of Lexington, Ohio.
Grandson Jesse (Maggie) Morgan; 2-great-grandchildren Atley and Tate Morgan
Sister-in-law- Mary Roe- Camp Dix, Ky.
Preceded in death beside his parents was a sister- Donna Steelman, Brothers- Ernest Roe, Alvie Roe, Hubert Roe, and Vinson Roe.
Funeral services will be Friday April 27th, 2018 @ 1:00pm at the Gaydos Funeral Home 159 2nd street Vanceburg, Kentucky with Brother Terry Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in the Stone Cemetery Camp Dix, Ky.
Friends may call from 11:00am until time of services Friday April 27, 2018 at the funeral home.
Military graveside rites will be accorded by the V.F.W. Post 5438 Monte Lewis Stamm.
Pallbearers for Larry C. Roe will be family and friends.
