Mr. LeRoy Jordan, Age 88, of Garrison, Kentucky passed away Tuesday December 20, 2022 at his home.

LeRoy, was born in Lewis County, Kentucky January 9, 1934 to the late George H. and Pearlie Arms Jordan.  LeRoy was a farmer, and worked construction among many various jobs thru out his life.

He was a member of the Kentucky Christian Conference and proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean conflict.

Left to cherish Leroy’s memories is his wife of 61 years whom he married February 28, 1961 Linda Sue Horsley Jordan of Garrison, Ky.

Sisters- Ina Horsley and Dorothy Kathleen Jordan both of Vanceburg, Kentucky.

Many nieces and nephews also survive who will mourn his passing.

Preceded in death beside his parents were his sisters- Gladeline Cassidy, Noreen Rowland, Dolly Kelly, Mamie and Christine Horsley that died in infancy.

Brothers- Arville Jordan, Roy Jordan, Troy Jordan, Coy Jordan, and Finley Jordan.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday December 28, 2022 at 1:00 pm at the Gaydos Funeral Home with Brother Chris Lawhun officiating.  Burial will follow in the Howard cemetery Tannery, Kentucky.

Visitation will be Wednesday December 28, 2022 from 11:00 am until time of services at the funeral home. 

Military graveside rites will be accorded by W. N. Fant American Legion Post # 5 Flemingsburg, Kentucky

Pallbearers for LeRoy Jordan will be family and friends.
