Linda Evans Obituary
Mrs. Linda Sue Evans, Age 72, of Owenton, Kentucky formerly of Vanceburg, Kentucky passed away Thursday August 19th, 2021 with her family by her side at her home in Owenton, Ky.
Linda was born in Vanceburg, Kentucky July 16, 1949 to the late Clifford Sartin Jr. and Frieda Imogene Gilkinson Sartin. Linda was an administrative assistant for Farm Bureau for 22 years. She also worked for Remax Real Estate and Conley Real Estate in Winchester, Ky. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star Alum City Chapter 222, Her and Fred attended First Christian Church in Owenton. Linda was a Loving Mother, Grandmother, Aunt, and sister. She adored her grandchildren especially her newest to the family her great-granddaughter. She was always ready to go shopping and to yard sales. Loved traveling and decorating around the home.
Left to cherish Linda Sue memories is her husband of 55 years whom she married March 19, 1966 in Vanceburg Fred Evans of Owenton, Ky.
Two daughters- Jennifer Caudill and (Bryan Jones) of Owenton, Ky., Erika (Tony) Richardson of Tampa, Florida.
Sister- Gail Underwood (Ronnie) of Vanceburg, Ky. 9-grandchildren and 1-great-granddaughter along with several nieces, nephews and other family members who also will mourn her passing.
Preceded in death beside her parents was a sister- Joyce Ann Mesner.
Visitation will be Sunday August 22, 2021 from 5-8 pm and from 8:00 am until time of services Monday at the Gaydos Funeral Home 159 2nd Street Vanceburg, Ky.
Funeral services will be Monday August23, 2021 at 11:00 am at the funeral home with Brother Tim Underwood officiating. Burial will follow in Lewis County Memory Gardens Black Oak, Ky.
Pallbearers for Linda Sue Evans will be Evan Rhodus, Sam Bond, Joseph Evans, Johnathan Caudill, Joshua Caudill, Joshua Kirschbaum, and Honorary pallbearer Roman Conely.
